One Man’s Treasure

I went to where my service was needed

not unto those who were sufficiently able

and not to those who had made up their minds

I came to the downtrodden

to those rejected

who, if anyone else, would be tied to public opinion

and made subject to manipulations

of whether love was deserved

I came to those

who moved toward growth

verses protection

I come for the fearless in loving

for the energies spent

in accepting

what is

A long

leisurely lunch

The sun followed us in

and the food was good;

the coffee was warm

Though we had to request it

the dessert was Divine

(Our waiter couldn’t wait to be at rest)

but our heartfelt conversation was the best

I thought about how much I’d text each day

if I could

if there were far more for me to say

than I should

Instead I know

that for each one of you

with whom I feel entitled all the same

I give to those who can receive my love

in silent name

I’ll Have What I’m Having

Medicate it

Then educate it ~

Dedicate it to the one you love

The one I love

is the energy called

To feel is to live

I can open up the windows

and let my fresh breeze blow

Natural is my cup of tea

I’ll feel my feelings

from my head to my knees

from my knees to my toes

I will help you ungrow

that fungus among us

be chose

I love it

but it’s too far gone

it’s so

“what is she on?”

Do You Love?

you have is what

you take with you when

you go — Better do more

than say magic words and

perform praise-worthy actions.

Is your heart (spirit) overriding your Ego (flesh)?

Do you want to reach heaven (Kingdom of God Living)

here hard enough to do the spiritual practice that brings growth?

Do you care for yourself richly while denying needy desires?

Do you realize that this may be your last

day here to show love to others?

Do you love a peaceful moment?

Will you share

the animation of your

passion for Life?

Do you

God Popped the Question

God Popped the Question

and I said

Yes to loving the elderly

Yes to honoring the wise ones

Yes to cautious connection

Yes to joy with abandon

Yes to sending care

Yes to prayer

Yes to vulnerability

Yes to layers of fragility

Yes to truth to power

Yes to a quiet hour

Yes to you

Yes to me

Yes to everything collective we will be

God Popped the Question

and I said

Hell, yah!

You gave me

non judgmental love

You still do

You showed me the depths of love

I feel…

You taught me how to pray

“but for the grace of God go I”

I know you came here

to teach me how to love

in truth and in peace

Thank you Dear One
