Dogwood’s Breath

I saw an angel’s face

in the trees

dogwood’s breath as fragrant as

the thought of when we play

the smiles’ corners

dancing up their cheeks

That’s when I see it

The other things I ‘d like to do

but never know quite if

God’s will is on them

But this one thing I know

they made me feel complete

I saw an angel’s face today

the angel’s face

was everywhere I looked
